"2 COMPUTER VISITORS"
Often at the computer by the window I work,
There's something moving: I sense it
From the corner of my eye, I notice movement,
Two golden colored birds have come to sit.
Just outside this window they come,
Sitting atop the old tomato cage
I wonder as I type, if the clicking of the keys,
That I'm talking to them, as I finish this page?
I think it very strange indeed,
These 2 birds never miss a day
So I click away on my son's computer,
These 2 birds just chatter back to me.
The companionship they give to me,
It seems to make the work go fast...
Before I know it, I have finished,
Wonder how long this friendship will last?
