As I Went Wading

Ken and I went for a drive

Bodga Bay was the place to go,

Blue was the Pacific: but oh so cool

The waves coming in sure put on a show.

Was really great to visit the beach

To reminisce and walk in the sand,

Swish of the sand between the toes

A wading I went, with shoes in hand.

All to soon,  the beach we left

Ken was hungry and had to eat,

A kosher place was near the beach

So we went in and took a seat.

The leisurely lunch, we really enjoyed

While watching the waves roll in,

I savored the beauty that's been given us

Our trip back home will soon begin.

My buddy and host has been just great

To have me fly in to visit them,

To someone else I must give my thanks

To Linda Morris, for she's a gem.
