There's a pretty little lake,
Just outside of town
Lake Ewauna is its name,
In timber country, as it's known.
With snowcapped Cascades to the west,
Reflects so pretty upon the lake
In wintertime it freezes over,
On Lake Ewauna, you could skate.
The shortest river in the world,
Is Link River flowing to this lake
From the lake flows Klamath River,
To the Ocean, there's no mistake.

On Lake Ewauna long ago,
A lumber mill with logs afloat
Waiting to go to the planning mill,
The stack of lumber would need a quote.
On the shores of Lake Ewauna,
K. Falls built a park for all
Seesaws, slides and some swings,
While on the Lake, pelicans will call.
'Tis beautiful to all that come,
To play and eat within this park
And "Lake Ewauna" will always be,
In your memories leaving it's mark.
