What should I see but a big rainbow
Hovering over Big Dallas Town
Over lots of buildings, row by row.
An afternoon shower left behind
This beautiful rainbow that's so fair
Strange how a rainy day can make
Something so beautiful that we can share.

Pink, blue, yellow and green
Colors in this rainbow you can see
Rainbows always seem so close
To see their ends aren't meant to be.
No gold you'll never, ever find
So don't go looking for that pot
The rainbow's end you'll never reach
