Today is surely an eerie day

Do you know why that is?

I think it's really neat in a way

For it doesn't happen often.

This is the month of October

It's also Friday, the 13th

Up in the sky:  full moon occurs

Not once, but twice today.

Here in Oregon, at Klamath Falls

The moonsets just before sunrise

To all, this really enthralls

For it will rise at 7:10 tonight, SURPRISE!

This could make a very good tale

To tell on Halloween Night

With lots of added scary detail

The kids would really enjoy.
