If I Were A Poet ©

If I were a poet

I'd sit right down to write

I'd write of things and places

That's made my years so bright.

I'm not a famous poet

But poems I'll always share

From childhood thru my golden years

Of memories I'll always have.

God's Creation is so great

Our world is full of so much beauty

It's there for the entire world to explore

Of wondrous things we can see.

Our blessings have been many

With friends we've met and made

To God, we give our thanks

But my love for poems will never fade.
