My Home On Wheels

Come take a trip with me

To see the beautiful sites

I know you would enjoy

Beauty seen from morn to night.

I found my way to the coast one day

Shells up and down the Oregon beach

All shapes and sizes you can find

Spiral ones, fluted ones, all within reach.

The country side is covered

With red maple leaves in Maine

Even in a misting rain

Leaves fly, while driving down the lane.

Don't travel the main high-ways

Back country lanes, I have driven

They are more alive with beauty

Enchantment galore, you will be given.

There are mountains to explore

Don't forget the mountain lakes

Quaking aspen trees to be seen

Don't hurry: no matter how long it takes.

'Tis God's country, I've always said

When in the mountains I arrive

So Majestic as I ponder

How your heart will come alive.

I've traveled North and South

As well as East and West

Boundless beauty yet unseen

The best you always save for last.

Back home, I'll rem-i-nisce

Of Mother Nature that I have seen

For she has made a world of beauty

I know: For all these places I have been.
