There are days when things go wrong
Regardless of what you try to do
Things do break and things get lost
Something right should soon be due.
Day started off with a bang
Very first thing, I ran out of gas
My tire blew out; my cell I forgot
HELP!!! Please come; I'm in a mess.
I'm missing my cell, pens and pencils, too
Even my computer has shut down
I can think and use my head
Upon my brow you'll see a frown.

I'm sure you've heard it said before
"A really bad day I've had today"
What else could possibly go wrong?
On the couch, I think I'll lie.
Soon I rose to take a bath
In the water, just lying there
Was so nice and felt so cool
Like a breathe of fresh spring air.
Now I'm dressed and ready to start
Completing my report if I may
At day's end and all's well
And you thought you had a bad day?
